About Me

Born in Northern Ontario I spent my early childhood moving around Canada, finally settling in Ottawa at age 5 when my father left the military. During my youth I enjoyed visual arts, playing hockey, snowboarding, and camping among other things. I also spent time in the outdoors with my Father and Grandfathers, fishing on numerous lakes and rivers, capturing these activities with a camera and sketches. I have always had a love for photography and how it relates to story telling.

I'm a self-taught photographer, living on Vancouver Island, who's works include fly fishing, coastal landscapes, nature and travel.  With a goal to document these subjects and tell compelling stories through images.
